Dental Implants
Implants are most often the ideal way to replace a missing tooth or missing teeth. Getting a dental implant involves a 2 phase treatment. In the first phase a bio-compatible titanium fixture is placed under your gums and into the bone near where the tooth or teeth were lost. The fixture is covered up and allowed to heal with your jawbone. Once healed we are able to proceed into phase 2. Phase 2 is the restorative component where we use the titanium fixture to support an implant crown or bridge. The end result is a very natural feeling and looking tooth where before it was missing.
