The use of lasers is revolutionizing dental care. In this case shown on the right, this young girl had a strong “tongue-tie” which was impeding her speech. Her previous dentist wanted to correct it using traditional surgery, ie. cut it out with a scalpel, put in stitches etc. The mom and child denied the procedure. When she came to Dr. Hope he offered to correct the problem using a laser. In 15 minutes she was done. No discomfort, no bleeding, and no stitches. She was eating normally that evening. We utilize advanced technology to make needed procedures have better results and with more comfort.
